Currently in development, Chicago Speaks is the Journal of a Musician’s first large-scale multimedia project involving the creation of a book, an audio documentary and a full-length film documentary. The core of the project is interview-based, and across all disciplines. The goal is to present Chicago to the world by getting perspectives on various aspects of the city’s past, present and future from the people who are its pillars today. The creator of the project and interviewer is Jane Lepauw, a former journalist and a published writer on cultural topics.
